Hello fellow travellers, I'm looking at doing a 5+ day trip from Wellington to the South Island, visiting Nelson, Blenheim and Kaikora for whale watching experience.
I'm planning on going with a 'Flexi-Pass' [it appears to be a safer way to travel]. Follow the link for full details on the Flexi-Pass: http://flexipass.intercity.co.nz/
I will be staying at YHA Hostels to keep the price down. Generally the rooms cost approximately $25-30 per night.
I'm looking at going mid-March, possibly early April but travel date is flexible.
I've lived in New Zealand for 6 years now and I've never ventured to the South Island. Would anyone be interested in joining me in this adventure?
