I am changing providers, that is why I want to donate the $ value. I will check out the texting option, thanks for the suggestion.
Demblues, back around Anzac Day, the RSA's website had loads of things for sale (that have to be purchased using a mobile phone).
Ring tones, mobile phone wallpaper etc - starting from $2. Why not just purchase some of that stuff until your balance has been depleted?

Does anyone know of a charity that I can donate my unused prepaid $$ value on my old cell phone to and how to go about this? I don't just want the provider to pocket the remaining $30+ dollars so would like to donate it to a worthy cause.
