Aggie, if there is some good in her, it's a bit late coming out. Been bad too long for me to forget it all of a sudden.
Still wouldn't want to be so sick that I had to go and stay with them for her to look after me, she would get me in a weak moment and get me to sign over all of my money It's her God. No, that isn't true, getting mine off me is her aim!!!!
Shi,
As far as I know, no Irish in me, just pure Lancashire on both sides. Oh I tell a lie, my Grandmother was a geordie.
Have you found Annie's story. Typing errors and all, not warts and all, but they are there too, as everyone will attest.

Now that I have these photos off my old computer, here's another one. This is what my car looked like after a woman driving an identical car, smashed into me, then tried to tell me I should have given way to her.
Scuse me, she was changing direction, I was on a thru road.
This was the incident where I had taken the two girls to Hamilton to buy (at my cost) some riding clothes for one of them, and the mother wouldn't pick me up off the bus. What a B***h!!!!!

Was just looking at "Valentines" website ( a chain of restuarants in North Island) and they say if you let them lnow the day before they will prepare glutenfree food. Most supermarkets have a glutenfree section now too.
Every little road you travel down in NZ you'll find something worth seeing Shi

Shi, the beauty of travelling through NZ is that if you stick to the main roads you really can’t get lost! We have two long narrow islands and wee Stewart Island at the bottom. The North Island is the most populated and the South Island is totally different to the North, but both islands offer stunning scenery. The ferry trip from Wellington (North Island) to Picton (South Island) takes about three hours and is a pleasure all of its own with beautiful scenery as you depart Wellington and the entry to the South Island is unsurpassed. All main roads and highways throughout both islands are well signposted. There are plenty of stopping places for a picnic and plenty of places to stop for food either to eat in the shop or to take away with you to eat at a rest stop along the road.

Shi,
Aren't you glad you joined Grownups.
I hope you've already formed the opinion that we are the friendliest people in the world, but of course, if you need to know something once you get here,, there's a pretty good chance you'll be asking another tourist. What do they call it - Murphy's Law!!!

Shi,
I have been talking to two memebers from Christchurch. The trouble is that we only know each other by their aliases, but I know the real names of three of the people who live in christchurch. I can't get hold of my bestest friend Aggie, her phone is ringing, but there is no answer, I guess she is out looking after someone else, which is just what she would be doing.
I have talked to Ocker and Joybel, and accidentally rang a lady instead of Joybel to start with. that lady lives in the same area as Aggie, so I can only assume that if she is ok, then Aggie is ok also.
The other reason I may not be able to get Aggie is that if her power is off, she may not have one of the old fashioned phones that we are supposed t have, just for events like this, where we can plug the into the main phone service.
I'l keep trying, and let you (and anyone else) know more when I know it myself.
On behalf of all the poor people in Christchurch, thatnkyou for your concern.
We are a very caring lot, when there was a risk of a tsunami, my other bestest friend Supergold rang us from Wellington to warn us that we might be in danger.

Thank you for the update on Okker and Joybel AP. Great news that he is OK. I was worrying about him, Aggie and others we read regularly on these threads. I just hope everyone is alright.

Quite an OOPS, that truck crate. Lucky it wasn't a tornado that tipped the truck over too!!
