Watch out! Remember a while back, we had Audrey's friend from England at one of our coffee mornings at the Elms. Well we have just heard she is coming again. She will be staying with her daughter just out of Brisbane and popping over for a few days late on the 16th. of June and leaves on the 23rd. So she'll be at our coffee morning on June 18th. I have just looked where we will be that day. Beleive it or not, it is Audrey''s turn at Salt on the Pier. Lets give her a good turnout.

Flash Gordon, We believe it.! Cos its in the programme. We,ll be there with bells on.!Looking forward to it.It will be our 102nd Coffee & CHAT BITOFADO Together.

My grandies have been picked up by a brown and happy Dad and I slept for 10 hours. Am having a quiet day today as well, saving my strength for a day trip to Geraldine tomorrow. If I remember rightly they have two markets on the same day so my feet could be stumps at the end
Bazza, I lived in Omarama for a year (a quiet one) and never heard of hot springs??? I always seem to hear the news at a far remove - we need a little figure scratching it's head looking puzzled!!

Ten earthquakes since midnight. Desi @ airport getting her sister to look after her mum whilst we are away. from tomorrow. We pick our motorhome up and ........... away North.

Lolly, THANKS We are shaken but OK. A few ornaments dropped to the ground and pictures rattled and slewed but it shattered the nerves a tad out here in THE EAST. Our building is in good shape.29 apartments good community spirit.We are only married couple the rest are widows and widowers.HAPPY hour was only 15 tonight. But we enjoyed the togetherness and managed a few laughs.

We were in Mosiac coffe cafe at barrington. Everybody just sat at their tables. The cafe was silent apart from the noise the shake made. It was a big shake and the lights were certainly swinging and did so for about 5 mins. The old heart starts thumping a bit and I was glad to be outside again. My daughter was upstairs in some older type house in Merivale and she said she was quite scared by how much the house shook. She lives on Westmorland and does not worry too much normally. It seems it was felt badly all over the city.
Better day tomorrow I hope.
