Much to my horror, I moved one of the lazy boy chairs the other week only to discover that it had left a huge `rust' mark on the carpet.
I phoned a carpet cleaning company who quoted me between $90 and $250 to remove the stain and clean the carpet (although they couldn't guarantee total removal of the brown mark).
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I saw an info-commercial on the telly for a product called `Touvit Forte' (where you put this stuff in the water and any stained item would come out nice and clean and stain free).
I phoned the company and they said that it would remove the rust stain without any hassle. It costs about $20 a tube.
I finally got around to working on the stain yesterday. I did a `test spot' first and it was okay so I worked on the stain.
Less than 10 minutes later there was no mark on the carpet, no indication there was a stain there and the lounge furniture was back in place.

I would recommend this product 100%.
The `faulty' chair is in getting fixed.
