Still not brave enough to go to a movie theatre, but have watched the odd movie on the big telly. The Warehouse has a great selection of oldies @ 2 for $17. I bought Educating Rita and Under The Tuscan Sun. Got Calendar Girls for a Christmas Gift. haven't not got around to watching them yet, but it will happen.

Have intentions of seeing The war Horse. Went to see The Iron lady yesterday. Meryl Streep played and looked like Lady Thatcher so remarkably.
It was interesting to see how she became known as the hard line Prime Minister with so much happening at the time during the 1970's. Firstly she had to climb her way up to the top among such conservative men who could not see a place for women in parliament as a Minister.
Endless strikes by the unions leading to riots by the workers, Irish terrorist bombing, and then the Falklands War.
Her story was well told as an elderly woman with a touch of humour, when she denied she was having hallucinations, even though she was, and had to eventually accept that her husband Dennis was dead.
You will enjoy Calendar Girls Joybel.
