I went all the way down to Auckland to see this in 3D. Had to pay $15 to get 3D glasses only to learn at the end of the movie that I had to hand them back! 
After all the hype I was a little disappointed. It had a predictable storyline and although great scenery I don't think it was anything extra-ordinary.

A great movie, with special effects that are in 2D. Would like to see it in 3D.
About An American Marine army's intention to mine a mineral wealth off an alien planet. This is beneath the huge tree where the aliens network is situated.
The scientists have cloned humans with the aliens to find out all about them. One of them Jake helps the aliens to fight for their ownership.
Breathtaking sequences. The aliens are beautiful, graceful and catlike.
