I have a Sony Minidvd camera and used it to video my daughters funeral. It has taken me 3 years to get Angelas DVD finalized and when it came time to write it to disc I find I don't have enough hard drive space (it has to write to a temp file first. I had just over 5gig free but needed nearly 6 so went in and did a big cleanup but still couldn't get enough. So I hit the net and got a 250gig one from a place in Wellington ($10 That was ordered and paid for Wed 21st Oct. By Wed last week it hadn't arrived so sent an email asking why. No reply. So sent another last night and got a phone call from them this morning. According to their records and Courier tracking data, it arrived Fri 23rd and was signed for. I was in Wakefiels working so it wasn't me. Somebody had used my name but Stuart instead of Stewart. So seller isn't interested because it has been recieved and courier isn't interested because it had been signed for and I'm still without it. In the meantime I thought it a good idea to load camera programme into laptop (via usb stick) and use that. But again not enough room on stick. Then I found it was also trying to copy all the files I had been editing (just over 16gig). So I set about deleting all that from capture folder. If I'd known they were there in the first place I would have been ok. Now I can't open it on either computer and I can't delete it from stick. Email to Sony for solution and patiently await their reply. In the meantime I saved it onto a free DVD writer which took 10 hrs to copy from MPEG2 format. But that doesn't work either. One of these days I WILL get this funeral onto DVD disc.
