That is a very good practical way to monitor what that teens are watching solar.sense75. But should young kids have the freedom to have a computer without any censorship of its content in their bedroom? They have too much of their own way as it is and the family seems to have become a house with non paying boarders in it with very little input coming from these indulged darlings except when they put their hands out for the latest i-pod or Nikes. Thank heavens they are not all like this and there are sensible parents who don't buy the absolute privacy cry.

to many things are happening to young kids with their computers in their bedrooms.
i think that they should all be in an appropriate place so that you can see what is going on and whats been said to the kids themselves.
i wouldn't allow any child, grd child of mine on a computer where i couldn't see what is going on.
there are so many things in our society today that can be used as an act of bulying and there are things on computers that shouldn't be there, but adults think its o.k.
how many kids have gotten so upset through this type of bulying that have commited sucide and were just to not think of it and just let it pass.
when in today's society are we going to think of what is good for our children and not good for them. it is not the use the kid's have, it's the use they shouldn't be able to get through.
it is time we thought of the next generation, and not what a few perverse people do to spoil things for the rest.

Hi all, check out this website:

www.silentmonitoring.co.nz
My 14 y.o is spending so much time in his room with the computer...
Suitable for all parents of teenagers, and the best thing about it.. you don't need to be a computer wiz
