Hi. I am new at this. I have two budgies - male and female who I think (and hope) are going to have a family. Both my Daughter and myself are excited to find out if this will happen. I have seen them feeding each other and bobbing their heads - all since I put a nesting box in the cage. I am hoping this is a good sign. My Ex wants a baby budgie and it would be cool to be able to give him one that I have raised!! I started with a normal bird cage, but then had an idea to turn a bookshelf into an aviary - It was cheap and it looks soooo cool !! If anyone is interest in how this was done, I would be happy to tell.
