Hi skipp7
A thimble collector is called a digitabulist
See http://en.allexperts.com/q/Collectibles-General-Modern-684/2008/4/Acquired-mother-thimbles.htm

Probably you have moved on from all this, but we want to get an aunt's thimble collection valued so it could be coming up for auction some time possibly.

Hi skipp7,
Most of the thimble collection was sold at auction, I had no control over it. However we still have these thimbles, also a number of wall displays. Here are a couple of photos:

Hi sandra56, Even though my comment was from 2008 I am still collecting and these thimbles pictured have made a nice addition to my other thimbles, of which there are only about 400. I'm always on the look out for that thimble that is just that bit different.

Hi there I wondered if any of you would be interested in buying some thimbles that I have English as well as sterling sliver ones. Ring me on 021 79 8119.
