Winter has most certainly arrived in the past 24 hours, good in a way that I know what to clothe myself in this morning.
Lots of heavy rain has accompanied the cooler temps - wonder what it will be like when I arrive in Melbourne on Saturday? I will be away for 3 weeks so no messages from me till my return.
I can recall hearing about this book - has anyone else heard of it?
Both funerals were a mixture of laughter and tears so needed a hanky for both. My friend's farewell was well attended, over 200 there and it seems she was a friend to many. Not sure how she fitted them all into her already busy schedule but she did, heard many amusing tales. She used Trade Me a lot and the day of her funeral a parcel arrived - it was a book she had ordered last week and the title amused everyone especially her husband. HOW TO KILL YOUR HUSBAND AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD HINTS.
Today will be spent packing my suitcase and trying to fit in as much as I can - would like to take my knitting to do on the plane but no knitting needles allowed so will take a book to read instead.
