Why do we wait until a crisis with our health occurs, to begin a totally different food regimen which is foreign to our eating habits and in itself could be stressful? There is a limit to the kind of veges one could tolerate in a raw state, speaking for myself that is. All credit to anyone who has survived on raw veges. confusedconfused

I had a friend who was on her last legs with multiple health problems.
For 18 months she juiced raw organic fruit & veg adding back 1/3 of the fiber.
Her slogan was; have juicer will travel.
It took 12 of those 18 months for her to have the energy to travel.
Today she is a fit healthy vegetarian & once again eats cooked food.
Nothing is for everyone; there is a great deal of truth in--One man's meat is another man's poison.
Take any changes slowly.biggrin

Hi y'all, just spent the weekend in a cottage at Lake Tarawera with neighbours and their kids. It was lovely and I didn't have to lift a finger. I'm now drinking Goji Juice and green tea. Those apricot kernels are vile so don't know if I will continue with them. If I was told they would DEINITELY cure me I would of course. We shall see. But I'm all over the place in my mind and just want to settle myself down somehow. Luvya all, Pixielol

Hi again, well I'm getting lots of advice of what to add to my food and drink intake but not much about what I should NOT be putting into my body. So there's another challenge for me to find out. Cheers Pixie

Guess what?? After six weeks of living in fear and having myself not long for this world I was told, three days ago, that my CT scan was inconclusive and I don't have cancer cells on my liver, in fact I don't have cancer at all. Am still on cloud 9 but pretty angry that this mistake was made. The best thing to come out of all this (apart from being fine now) is that I discovered carrot juice and love it lol Cheers in happiness, Pixie
