Hi Ramona, Just got back from the free rice comp. I got 1560 grains of rice. I had a good number wrong, but not to worry. I found that the prefix of some words gave a clue. That is enough brain exercise for this old girl.

It is great mental exercise & if you write down the ones you miss you grow your vocabulary. The score down the bottom tells you how good your vocab' is & it is a real kick to see that getting higher.
Do your bit each day & help feed the hungry & get a grey matter work out.

My grey matter is overworked as it is, Kelpie, getting through the games and making up stories and Limericks, finding time to fit in the necessities, as well. I will have another look though. I would like to get back into cross- stitching and read my books and try out the new sewing machine I bought six months ago. Phew!

Well I made 2020 before I decided I could be there all night. LOL It was certainly an eye opener though and it's nice to know one has given someone a few mouthfuls of rice. It's something I'll go back to from time to time.....if I remember of course! LOL

Could someone please explain to me why they don't just give the rice.
All of our activities on their site brings money into their coffers though (The website's that is)

You word-loving grownups (and the big kids here too) might like to play a word game designed to provide rice to people in third world countries.
